Autumn Arrives as Apples Appear Event Cache

We have decided that an event in Rutland is well overdue and that we should put one on before the clocks change and the nights draw in. It will be great to see old friends and meet new ones and cachers who are, at present, just a name on the logs.

Come and join us on Saturday 12^th October 2013 any time between 12 noon and 6.00 p.m. at The White Lion Inn. The pub changed hands at the beginning of the year and the homely food now served here is very good value for money. It is open from 12 noon serving drinks, sandwiches and meals all day long - Fish and Chips is a speciality. Chris and Yolanda will make you welcome whatever you decide.

It would be great if you could log a note indicating whether you will be attending and especially if you are thinking of stopping for something to eat. Booking in the evening is not essential but it will help Yolanda with the planning.

We have just put out a circular route with twenty three new caches. There will probably be around fifteen new cache and dashes in the vicinity also. All hopefully published just in time for the event.
