Geocache Description:

I have long held that you should hide as large a container as the location will support. I don't know how many times I have stood in a beautiful location deep in the woods, hunting a tiny container and said to my friends, "Why is this a micro, you could hide a car in here?" For the record, there is no car hidden here, I've already been there and done that. With that said, sometimes a location does call for a micro and I think this is the case here. So, I decided to try my hand at a "micro in the woods".

I was given this container by a friend and after using it as designed for many years, I have decided to repurpose it. The log is in a container that is advertised as being good for keeping matches dry, though I have seen them used for other things. Anyway this "waterproof match container" is blaze orange, as many of them are. I did add one of those "Official Geocache" stickers to the outside which oddly enough makes it stand out even more against the background. So once you get to the right viewing angle this one should be fairly easy to locate. Please be sure to sign the log and feel free to trade from the small trinkets I managed to jam inside.

This cache cannot be accessed from I-65, but is located along a gravel frontage road leading to some cell towers. There is a large interesting rock to the north of the cache, where I wanted to hide it, but it shows signs of activity among the locals and I did not want them to stumble on this cache and take it home with them to keep there matches in. It is a pretty location, but not overly so, and there is a bit of poison ivy in the area and I am sure that ticks frequent this spot. On the other hand, it is very close to an exit and will give you the opportunity to stretch your legs a little and enjoy a break from the road in a natural surrounding.

If you enjoy this trifle of a cache, feel free to add a favorite point. If not, I hope you appreciate the opportunity to increase your smiley count in a fairly pretty location.
