[NOR] Viul Stasjon
Dette er det som er igjen av Viul stoppested som ble opprettet 16. august 1915. Hit flyttet man i 1916 den lille ekspedisjonsbygningen som tidligere hadde stått på Brandbu. Dette var en enetasjes bygning som minnet om Paul Armin Dues Ekspedisjonsskur – tegninger. Den hadde et større venteværelse, men ikke noe godsrom. Den hadde også det karakteristiske buede gavlpartiet og gavlblomstene. Bygningen ble revet i 1987. Viul Tresliperi AS hadde sidespor på stoppestedet og den nordre sporvekselen finnes fortsatt.
Det var mye godstrafikk fra Keyes Norway AS på slutten av 60 og begynnelsen av 70 tallet. Vognlaster med emballasje ble nesten daglig ekspedert til mottakere på kontinentet.
Fra 15. januar 1972 var Viul holdeplass, den ble nedlagt 18. mai 1989. Det var også postekspedisjon på stedet med eget poståpneri (poståpneri er en eldre betegnelse på et lite postkontor på landsbygda i Norge).

This is what is left of Viul stop which was established on 16 August 1915. A small terminal building that had previously been on Brandbu was moved here in 1916. This was a single-storey building that reminded of Paul Armin Due Expedition Sheds - drawings. It had a larger waiting room, but no goods compartment. It also had the characteristic curved gable and gable flowers. The building was demolished in 1987. Viul Tresliperi AS had siding on the stop and the north switch point still exists.
There was a lot of freight traffic from Keyes Norway AS the late 60's and early 70's. Wagon loads of containers were almost daily despatched to recipients on the continent.
From 15 January 1972 Viul was a stop, it closed 18 May 1989. It was also handling mail on the spot with its own post office.

Cachen er plassert rett i nærheten av parkeringsmulighet. Selve cachen er en foto filmboks som initielt innholder cache dokument, logg og blyant.

It is possible to park near the cache. The cache is a photo film box initially contains cache document, log and pencil.
