Geocache Description:

This is the first in a series of hides at local public parks. 

This cache is located at C V Thornburg Municipal Park.  Thornburg was a long time city councilman in Cherryville and is still very active in the community.  There is a paved trail that leads you near the cache location.  The cache is a well camoed container that contains a log, pen, and a few small trade items. The park hours are from 7am-9pm.  In the summer this is a well used park so please beware of muggles.
