Another fishing spot i have used before, this time its on the Yass river, now the Yass dam has been enlarged there is heaps of water here, Great boating (no petrol motors) great fishing for cod, golden perch and heaps of carp, which are good fun for kids as they fight well.
Please check inland fishing laws as the water is watched by fisheries and large fines apply to offenders.
The area is a o.k spot for a quick visit or a picnic, nice and quiet.
The area is easy to find off the end of Grand junction road then turn right, Dont follow Meehan street as the map is wrong, you will see what i mean.
Cache should be easy to find but bring a pen, no room for swaps.
