Geocache Description:

This cache is at Burger Hill Park.  I have been enjoying this location for years with my family and I was pretty set on this being my first hide.  The cache itself is pretty unique and I have not yet seen one like it.  You are not going to miss it when you see it. Make sure to approach the cache from the East, do not climb over any rock walls to get the smiley.

Bring a second set of hands or a back brace and cache at your own risk.

This is information copied from the Scenic Hudson Website, see links below.  The park is managed by the Winnakee Land Trust and Scenic Hudson.

Burger Hill Park is in Rhinebeck, Dutchess County (76 acres)—A half-mile trail leads uphill through open meadows abounding with birds to a 550-foot hilltop affording panoramic vistas stretching from the Berkshires to the Catskills. In winter Burger Hill is one of the region's prime sledding destinations. Scenic Hudson originally protected the parkland, now owned by the Winnakee Land Trust.
