Runham Village sign is one of the nicer village signs around. The design has been carved in relief out of wood and painted in bright colours to give a textured effect. The design features Runham Church in the background and in the middle depicts local agriculture of times past in the form of a horse drawn plough and farm animals which could be either sheep or cows. In the foreground is a wherry sailing past on the River Bure. Agriculture is still the major industry in the locality. The final cache is located at N 52 38.ABC E 001 38.DEF. To find the missing co-ordinates you will have to note the following from the sign:
A= The number of sheep/cows on sign
B= The number of curves on the top edge of the sign
C= Total number of farm animals pictured on sign
D= Number of pinnacles pictured on the church tower.
E= Number of leaves depicted on sign minus the number of boats
F= Total number of ground floor windows (exclude doors) depicted on church
After noting the above it's a short walk to the cache. Replace as found and BYOP.
Congratulations to oceanflipper on the FTF
If anybody would like to expand this series please do. I would just ask that you let Smokeypugs know first so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
