This area has changed since the last time I was here. There was always a path from The End Of The Line cache to the river.
But about five months ago (March 2013) CIE came in and did some maintenance. They worked from Waterford to New Ross and cleared the whole rail line of all growth. The plan was to open it up as a walking path. Unfortunately the question was asked what would happen to if somebody fell on it. This put the whole plan to bed. The growth has started to take over the tracks again.
But one thing that still stands is access to the river by walking down the lane.
