Lewis Plaza Fountain Traditional Cache

SimmonsFamily1: I am reluctantly archiving this cache. The cool fountain that was there has been removed during the renovation to the courtyard. It appears to now be a nice-looking area for the tenants of the building but off-limits to the public.

I am opening this spot up to someone else in case they would like to place a cache here.

Log Only Cache.  BYOP.

This cache is located near the fountain in Lewis Plaza, downtown Long Beach.  There is a plaque near the fountain which reads:

With faith in the future of the City of Long Beach, this property was acquired in 1893 by the father of Emma S. Lewis, who with her husband George E. Lewis built on it the Savoy Hotel.  With Grateful Appreciation by Evelyn Lewis Bray, Ulric B. Bray and family.

Parking is limited.  There is a parking garage nearby with a minimum charge of $1.50.  This area can be busy with muggles at times so please be stealthy!  There is a dollar coin for the FTF.
