In cooperation with the Texas Park and Wildlife Department a Geocaching event will be held in the Palo Duro Canyon on October 26, 2013. The event will be held at 10:00 am at the Lone Star Interpretive Theater and will last till 12.00 pm. This event will be an opportunity to learn about Geocaching, learn about Geocaching in the canyon and be a great opportunity to meet other cachers. Their will be time for trading and showing off Travel Bugs, Geo Coins. Time for traiding war stories and tell about the ones that got away. Time for hints to geocaches and finding new caches in the park. The entrance fee to the park is 5.00 dollars per. person. Even if you are a experienced cacher come on out and have fun talking to new and old friends alike.
Permission has been received from Texas Parks and Wildlife to host this event. And permit is on file in park office.
