Ocean Beach Lookout Traditional Cache

A scenic lookout overlooking the beautiful Ocean Beach, with magnificent views of the surrounding coastline, the Great Southern Ocean, and the Wilson Inlet.
Ocean Beach is another part of the spectacular coastline in Denmark and its surrounds, and is not to missed if you're visiting the area. To whet your appetite, see some of the information here:

GZ will take you to a lookout with expansive ocean views. From here, you can see the Wilson Inlet, the coastline of the Nullaki Peninsula, the Surf Lifesaving Club below, and of course the Great Southern Ocean. It's a popular surfing spot, and if you're fortunate you'll be able to see some of the locals showing their surfing skills on the waves below. At certain times of the year the sand-bar to the Nullaki Peninsula is opened, and the water of the Wilson Inlet runs directly into the ocean. If you have time after finding the cache, continue to the end of the dirt road and visit some of the other lookouts, such as those overlooking McGeary's Rock, Black Hole and Sinker Bay.
To get here, take Ocean Beach Rd from South Coast Hwy, and drive all the way to the end of the paved section, and continue past the Surf Lifesaving Club. Follow the wide dirt road for a few hundred metres, which will take you to a parking area on the left hand side, very close to where the cache is hidden - so this is practically a drive-by.
Cache is a white cylindrical container; please make sure it remains well hidden to avoid being muggled. We have deliberately made it easy to find, because this cache is all about the location. We placed it here to share another jewel of the rainbow coast, and to help bring other geocachers here to enjoy this wonderful spot.
