Well this cache is located in the Blonde Bay State Game Reserve. The game reserve is a 200ha game reserve in Victoria. It lies on the north shore of Lake Victoria in Gippsland Lakes about 20kms out of Bairnsdale. Its used for seasonal duck and quail hunting as well as balloted hunting of hog deer. The area has some lovely tracks that are mostly two wheel drive friendly I made it to this spot in my falcon so it can be done with care. The surrounding habitat consists of heath and banksia woodland with some boggy wetland areas. It contains the threatened plant species Dwarf Kerrawang. There is two nice walking trails that i know of and lots of interesting birds i am always finding some place new when i go out here so enjoy the area :)
About the cache..... not knowing is half the fun.
Fear not - or should you?
Most people have both rational and irrational fears - fear of death, close spaces, spiders, snakes, mice. The list goes on and on. Geocaching sometimes forces one to confront those fears. This little series is no exception
What is lurking in that hole?
Dont let this one hop away on you....
