A traditional cache hidden by our 12 year old daughter for those wishing to explore this beautiful nature reserve. It is located just off the signed pathway, but rather more challenging than the Monster (GC36RYA). Please note that at very high tides, access can be tricky due to waterlogging of the path.
The West Williamston Nature Reserve comprises meadows, woodland, and saltmarsh and is home to numerous wildflowers, wildfowl and butterflies. The saltmarsh is indented with tidal creeks excavated as loading bays for limestone quarries in the 18th century, accessed from the Carew and Cresswell Rivers.
Happy hunting!
