This geocache is located in Jonathan Dickinson State Park and approved by Martin Morse, park service specialist. ***keep all wheels off the road when parking, obey posted speed limits and don't block the gates*** Please feel free to add to the list of good and bad swag items that you have found in geocaches in your logs!!!!
The rule of geocaching states that if you trade an item from the geocache you should replace it with something of equal or better value. The idea is to keep geocaches stocked with rotating supplies of swag-like goodness. Does that always happen, no!!! Many times some geocachers just take for the sake of the moment but it is still best to replace with equal or better stuff. Keep in mind that the majority of the swag found in a typical geocache usually ranges from $1.00US to $5.00US in value. Examples of GOOD geocaching swag:fishing lures (in package of course), collectible or foreign coins, boxes of crayons or colored chalk (be careful with crayons in the summer), Fresh AA batteries, cheap jewelry, water colors, Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars, small tools, eyeglass repair kits, emergency rain ponchos, compasses, carabiners, individual packs of insect repellent wipes, individual packs of Handi Wipes, small US flags and US flag pins buttons, decals and stickers. DVDs, CDs, MP3 players, watches, toy figurines and pathtags Examples of BAD geocaching swag:Weapons, Condoms(actually found one in a geocache..(in it's wrapper of course), matches or lighters, food or drinks, alcohol, business cards, dirty or used items.
