Snagged Traditional Cache

This cache is hidden in Mallard Lake.  You will need a boat of some type in order to get to it.  I hid it on a fishing trip I took to check out the lake.  If you like carp and gar this is the lake for you!

The cache is on a log that is sticking straight up out of the water.  It is the only log on this side of the lake that you could place a cache on and it not fall into the water.  Cache is tied off with some line but can reach the water if not placed back exactly right.  You are looking for a small camo'd pill bottle.  Will not be hard to find, but getting there is the challenge.  No swiming allowed so bring a boat and fishing rod (if you are into that).  There are several other caches around this lake that are easier to access by water rather than land so make a day of it.  If you park at the suggested spot there is a access point to launch a boat about 180 feet from the parking lot to the water.  Sorry no drive up launch point so you will have to carry or drag a boat to the waters edge.  Happy boating!
