Scout Blinkie D decided he would place himself in a spot where he could observe how humans worship. He also noticed that from here, he could also monitor how they take care of their elderly.
As a side note, this is the location where on April 10, 1949 the church exploded just prior to Palm Sunday Mass. The building was destroyed, six people died and many more were injured. The church was rebuilt in 1952
