To get to this cache you'll need to hike through the Skibowl area. (Park at Skibowl West, not Skibowl East.) The route I took started to the left of the Alpine Slide on Lake Road. Follow that to Low Road, which becomes High Road then Skyline Road. From Skyline Road there is a trail that heads off into the woods to Wind Lake. In the summer all of these roads and trails are well-marked. This cache wil not be accessible in winter because it will be buried under several feet of snow. It's a good idea to consult a Skibowl trail map before starting out since the roads and trails may not show up on your GPS (they didn't show up on mine). It is not a good idea to take shortcuts on mountain bike trails since you risk getting mowed down if you do that.
With winter snow plus fall and spring rain, this site sees a lot of precipitation so PLEASE make sure the lid is snapped all the way on.
