Geocache Description:

Cache is a 5x5cm plastic box

This is the first cache in a series we have laid on part of Cycle Route 11, starting in the historic city of Ely. The 9 mile mostly traffic-free route follows footpaths along the River Ouse, then ducks through Barway along farm roads, and arrives at Wicken Fen nature reserve trails. It is a lovely easy ride along tarmac, with a short section of stone farm track and not a hill in sight. Note: You can also search for Derail (GC26T91) along the route. To get to Wicken Fen turn right at the end of the road, then right at the T junction and Wicken Fen will be on your left. If you would like to carry on to Cambridge, keep following the signs.
