Geocache Description:

You will be searching for this easily accesible small tin container containing a pencil and a number of small items. Do not poke around with a stick as you will put it out of reach. Also ensure it is left in exactly the same place as you have found it. It has been muggled and has been pushed out of reach twice before so it should be replaced as found. Do not excavate the bridge structure, because it is not there.

Once called the Chester Approach but now known locally as the Duke's Drive is located just to the side of the roundabout leading to the Grosvenor Bridge on the A483. This woodland and park area was once used to provide access to Eaton Hall, Eccleston the home of the Duke of Westminster. The A55 bypass opened in 1976 bisected the drive and seperated it from the rest of the Dukes estate. The Overleigh Lodge just inside the park, the gates and stonework peirs and screens have been designated a Grade 2 listed building.

The park is open to the general public and can get extremely busy on sunny days with dog walkers, cyclists and families out for a walk.
