Geocache Description:

This location on the Boise Greenbelt is a lovely place to view the ever-changing Boise River.  Each season brings its own palette of colors and sights.

No matter what scenery is provided at the time of your visit, the beauty here is truly set in stone.

The Boise Greenbelt is one of our favorite places to walk and enjoy nature. Consider this cache a great excuse for you to come out and try it yourself. There are lots of other caches nearby for you to find, too.

The cache is a metal container, about the size of a soup can. But don’t think about the size as you hunt or you may never find it. Things are not always as they seem.

A few cautions:

1. The terrain is flat and easy along a maintained dirt/gravel trail until you get within a few feet of the cache. At that point you have to choose your footing very carefully and have good balance.

2. To help preserve this area, please do not move any of the large rocks. Moving large rocks will not help you find the cache.

3. Watch your children! The river is very close to this cache.

4. Due to the popularity of this area, muggles may appear at any time!

We have geocached for many years, but have never placed a cache until now. This is our first! We hope that it lifts your spirits. Good luck!
