This regular size cache has been placed on a footpath through a small woods, at the end of our street. My husband used it every day on his journey to and from school as a little boy. He also has fond memories of playing for hours in the Cwm with his "gang" and making lots of dens; sadly we don't seem to see this here anymore. It's quite a steep climb to the top, but as this is our first cache we haven't been too cruel!
Parking is available for one or two cars on the hill on the way up to the footpath and also on the residential street, but please be mindful of how you park. The area is busy between 8am - 9am and from 2.30pm - 3.30pm due to school drop off and pick ups but please be assured it is well away from the school and the hill is only used as the main road is too busy to stop on.
We have tripled checked the co-ords but the GPS does bounce around under the tree coverage, so use the hint if necessary.
There are lots of swaps for geokids in the cache and an unactivated trackable for FTF, either to keep or to activate and send on a journey - the choice is yours.
