A straightforward cache by the side of the beautiful River Avon on a fairly quiet country lane somewhere between Kingsbridge, Loddiswell, Churchstow and Aveton Gifford. My family and I have been walking dogs, picking blackberries, photographing dippers and otters, wading through floods, running from cows, cycling, spotting adders, getting stung by nettles, wasps and bees along this road for over 25 years now.
You can park along this road at various points, one is quite near the cache, but why not take the time to enjoy a longer walk or stroll? There are plenty of options to choose from. If you hear someone shouting at their dog on a Sunday afternoon to stop eating the horse/cow poo, that's probably me.
The road can flood sometimes, but a decent pair of wellies will be all you need. Please bring a pen/pencil to sign the log. There is no room for any trackables/swaps. No spoiler pics, please.
