This is a beautiful circular walk starting & finishing in Great Witley. This is a favourite walk, the countryside and views are Absolutely Fabulous. I have placed assorted containers, I really hope that you enjoy the walk and the caches
Walk Info - This walk is about 5 miles & fairly strenuous, with one big hill, one moderate, and one very steep descent. This walk is dog friendly, stiles are passable, or there is a gap or a gate. Road walking is minimal, with one stretch at the end to get back to the parking layby, but you can avoid this by taking one unfriendly dog stile on the right, to divert on a footpath across fields
Parking - Waypoint is included for a layby at the start of the walk, or park opposite at the pub if they agree, or use the free village car park at the doctor's surgery at the other end of the village (signposted), but this will add a mile to the walk distance
Cache - Number one is a small tub in camo bag, intended as an easy starter.... A nice view of the Hundred House, whose name comes from when the oldest rooms were used as the collecting house for tithes gathered from 100 districts in the country
Directions - From the parking layby opposite pub see the footpath sign and enter directly into field. Turn right, follow boundary around to an opening, exit onto small lane. Happy hunting!
