Attended the 2013 GroundSpeak Block Party. Had a blast and found a great container. It's a bison tube, but as bison tubes go, its the Andre the Giant of Bison Tubes.
So on the First day of September, Labor day weekend 2013, We hiked up to the Lincoln City Roads End Thumb. There were people everywhere up here on this gorgeous end of Summer day. Some of them even knew of Geocaching!
There is a lovely meadow overlooking the Thumb, and there used to be a cache up here. Great place for a picnic or after Lunch hike, and also a great place to enjoy the ocean view below.
As the names says, great vista view of the Thumb in all its rugged glory.
Cache is camo, and hard to see. Don't got over the edge, the terrain gets 5 plus in a hurry and Skull and Crossbones would apply. This can be reached safely without falling if you use common sense. If the grade is more than 45 degrees, you have gone too far. There is no cache down there.
