Geocache Description:

Nuts and Bolts, now known as NAB, started life as a robotic nut and bolt storage and retrieval unit. New technology has forced NAB to find a new purpose and he has found it in GeoCaching! He loves his new job as he gets to spend his days just hanging around while you do all the work!

The NAB unit will be very easy to find once you get to ground zero. Bushwacking will be required, but the cache will be very visible once you get close. Signing the log, however, is the real challenge... or not, it just depends whether your luck is on the 1st try or the 12th!!

The tools you need to complete this challenge are included with the cache. Please be sure to put everything back as you found it to prevent bees and other such things from nesting inside the NAB and so others can have the same experience as you!

Congratulations to Four Across on their FTF! Enjoy your TB :)

This cache is located off a trail in Hanson Riverside Park. The park is open from 8am until dusk.

According to the Brazoria County Parks Department - Hanson Riverside County Park is a 35-acre wooded day-use park along the San Bernard River near West Columbia. Hanson features a large covered pavilion, scattered picnic tables and grills, an observation tower, playground, fishing pier, canoe launch, extended trail system, paved parking areas, and restrooms.

Once the site of a ferry landing, Hanson's natural attractions include native hardwood trees, bird watching, nature viewing, and fishing. Hanson Riverside County Park is on SH 35 between West Columbia and Sweeny.

Be aware. There can be poison ivy, poison oak, thorns and other potentially uncomfortable vegetation both on and off the trail. Use a stick to clear away spider webs and to examine holes. There are all manner of critters, snakes and wild things in the park. Don't stick your hand in a hole without first making sure there's no one home. Biting insects such as mosquitos and chiggers can be thick, so be ready to wear bug spray.

Note: The cache was placed with the permission of the Brazoria County Parks Department.
