This is the fourth cache in my series of suburbs in Darwin. Darwin is a wonderful tropical city, that I have lived in for a large part of my life.
Ludmilla suburb derives its name from Ludmilla Creek which runs through the suburb. It is believed to have been named after Ludmilla Holtze by a Government Surveyor who carried out a survey of that area in 1893.
Ludmilla Holtze (1871-1971) was the only daughter of Maurice and Evlampia Holtze who migrated to Australia from Hanover in 1872. Maurice was the Government Gardener from 1878 to 1891, and is credited (together with his son Nicholas) for the Botanical Gardens.
The listed coordinates are false and within 2 km of actual cache. To find the cache you must find the answer in the picture.
This Photo Puzzle is a little unusual, and is designed to be not so obvious, and hence has a difficulty of 4. You will need a computer to solve this, and not a mobile phone.
You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.
Do not forget to track down the other caches in the series and learn a little about Darwin's suburbs!
