Geocache Description:

The Tanjung Aru Beach is a great beach has now been transformed into a beach full of restaurants and various beachside cafes serving a variety of different foods including Chinese food and Malaysian food.

The Beach of Tanjung Aru is separated into 3 different sections namely First Beach, Second Beach, and Third Beach. The second and third beach is usually frequented by families and dating couples looking for a beautiful spot to enjoy quality time together.

The first beach houses the Tanjung Aru Broadway. The Broadway is designed so that all of the traffic is separated from the beach's primary walk. The Broadway does not take up a huge amount of room which enables individuals to either choose to old feel of the beach or the new Broadway and the food and beverages that it provides.

Visitors of the beach may decide to eat at one of the many food or fruit stalls found throughout the beach. Fruits that are locally found in Sabah can always be found for sale at any fruit stall. These stalls have been along the beach for a long time which proves how much they are enjoyed by both the locals and visitors of the Beach of Tanjung Aru. The fruit stalls serve up fresh fruit that has been cut into small bite size pieces and covered up with a plum powder or they may serve fruit that has just been marinated.

Found inside this beach is also a small sized park named the Prince Philip Park. The park still houses some features that have been standing for more than 40 years dating back to the 70s.

The cache is a container with a logbook inside
