The campfire afterwards usually lasts well into the night. It's a great opportunity to meet and tak with fellow cachers, tell tales and possibly enjoy an adult beverage or two.
The camping area will be open all weekend for anyone who would like to stay. It can accomodate tents, trailers and motothomes. It is primitive only, no water or electric, but there will be an outhouse available for the weekend.
This is all courtesy of the wonderful Swanson family who allow us to use and enjoy their beautiful property for our geocaching fun, so if you see them at the campfire, be sure to say thanks, and as always, respect the grounds.
There are many caches on or very near the camping area, including one at the nearby golf course for the kids. There will be at least one event cache and hopefully a pemanant one that is loggable will be placed
