LOWER GREEN SWAMP NATURE PRESERVE
According to the brochure the newest nature preserve in the area is a 12,809 acre tract owned and managed by the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department. It is located about 1/4 mile west of Charlie Taylor Road on Knights Griffin Road in eastern Hillsborough County.
While on my way to a cache I notice the parking area and decided to pull in and take a walk through the preserve. One hour (I traveled a small part of the yellow trail and came back on the access road) and five new cache hides later I was back at my truck.
After exiting the trails I found the brochure and realized I had only "touch the hem of the garment", and plan to return with a resupply of caches.
It was a beautiful afternoon for hiking/geocaching and hope you enjoy your walk too!!
