Geocache Description:

This cache was originally placed for the First State Challenge 2013 sponsored by Delaware Geocachers! Although the challenge has ended, this cache is still available to be found!!

Cache Details:
Easy area to pull of the road for a cache.

Description:
The City of Milford is located in two counties, Kent and Sussex. The Kent County side was first settled in 1680. It was incorporated February 5, 1807. In the 1770's shipbuilding was flourishing on the Misspillion River and continued to be the major industry of Milford through World War I. At one point six shipyards were operating in the downtown area. During the 20th century Milford served primarily as a commercial center for much of Southern Delaware's agricultural community.
