This cache was originally placed for the First State Challenge 2013 sponsored by Delaware Geocachers! Although the challenge has ended, this cache is still available to be found!!

Hidden at the Frederica Senior Center with their permission.



Description:
Frederica is located close to the center of Delaware, it is part of Kent County. It has 1.92 square miles of land area and has no water area. As of 2010, the population is 774, which has grown 19.44% since 2000. It is the home of ILC Dover , which makes spacesuits for the Apollo and Spacelab astronauts and the space shuttle's Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU).

Frederica is also the proud home of the Frederica Senior Center. This center provides for several hundred local seniors, providing wholesome meals at breakfast and lunch 5 days a week. It also provides family support for those in need.

A bizarre, but true story concerns a woman who hanged herself by a public road (Main St) in Frederica, just off the Murderkill River. This occurred October 26, 2005. The police thought the calls they received were an early Halloween prank and ignored them for three hours.
