First in a series of caches located along the Thomas Howe Demonstration Forest trail system.
The Thomas Howe Demonstration Forest is too nice a trail system not to have any caches out on it. The trail is just over 2 km long and is in excellent walking condition. You could even push a stroller around here. At the parking lot there are outhouses and picnic tables so a great spot to stop with the family.
This first cache is next to a pine marten hair sampling site. There is information about the program. Cache is a camoed bison tube.
