This is the first cache I have created. I thought I would make it a tough one. I found this cool map online for the Sleeping Giant Travel Management Area. You can actually take this "trail" to the top of the Sleeping Giant's belly.
It runs along ridgelines until you get to the belly. It is not an easy hike. If I try it again, I will take two days and camp along the way. We didn't make it on this attempt, but we did hide a cache along the way. It definitely will take 4-wheel drive to get to the trailhead. Don't try to get to the trailhead if it is raining or if there is any snow on the ground. It's a bit of a hike from the parking area, but nothing too crazy. You get a great view of the Sieben Ranch. Left a FTF poker chip for the first to find! Left some other interesting things in there too.
