Come out and enjoy a great walk in the woods, and treat yourself to what is usually an exclusively spring time event - a Pancake/Maple Syrup meal.
The Event at the bottom of the hill, at the posted coordinates, begins at 4pm, and will last until 5:30pm.
Park at the Parking waypoint, and make your way down the trail and down the hill.
New caches will be placed along the trail, we have permission from the land owners.
We hope to have new caches published the day before the event for all to find. And, there are over a hundred existing caches within a couple of miles of the event, including several series.
A family run Maple Sugar Camp at the bottom of the trail will welcome us, where, you may, if you choose, enjoy a delicious pancake/sausage/baked beans and maple syrup meal. Details to follow. The site is normally closed until the sap begins to run in the spring, but will be open for us for the duration of the event.
If the road is in good enough condition, there will be very limited parking at GZ for those with small children or for those with mobility issues. Please save those few parking spots for those in need.
To log the event, all you have to do is sign the log book located at the posted coordinates.
