The Old Homestead Traditional Cache

On an evening drive out east of our home, we discovered a back road we had never traveled before and found an area with stunning views!  We arrived at the cache site just before sunset and a beautiful view to the west of the setting sun greeted us.  Also to the west you can see the nearby quarry.  To the northeast of the cache site is the reason for the cache name.  The recent rains have made the rolling hills out this way a very lush green and in the distance you can see a beautiful structure still standing in all it's beauty.  If only these old homes could talk and tell of the stories of the past.

Take some time to just look around and take in all that is God's glory and whenever you have the time, remember to always take the road less traveled.
