Geocache Description:

This series was placed to honor athletic heroes in University of Michigan history (what did you expect from goblue1994?).  Spartans are more than welcome to find the caches and I guess Buckeyes are too.  Wolverine fans will hopefully enjoy the containers and the short synopsis of the person’s Michigan career.  Others will just have to plow through them to better their cache totals.  Enjoy!

Glen Rice #41, Michigan 1985-1989

 

Glen is the all-time leader in Michigan basketball history in several categories including: career points (2,442), single season points (949 in 1989) and single season three point percent (51.6% in 1989).  He was named the Most Outstanding Player in the 1989 NCAA Championship leading the team over Seton Hall, Michigan’s only basketball title.  He scored 184 points during the tournament, an NCAA record that still stands.
