CampsFun2 Traditional Cache

This geocaching experience will involve an interesting trip to the South-West edge of the Toronto Islands, near Gibraltar's Point. On a clear day one can see the distant looming steel mills in Hamilton to the West, and on some days faintly make out the skyline of Buffallo, NY. Be ready to traverse some rocky terrain!

CampsFun2 is a geocache located on an artificial breakwall that protects the sandy dunes of Gibraltar's Point from eroding away into Lake Ontario. The best way to experience this geocache is to canoe or kayak over to the Islands, via Trout Pond. Alternatively, the Toronto Island Ferry Dock on Hanlan's Point is a twenty minute walk away from this cache's location.
