Restin' in St. Paul's Anglican - Dunrobin Traditional Cache

The "Restin'" series of caches offer up great opportunities to visit the final resting places of local residents of communities in Eastern Ontario, many of whom were homesteaders and pillars of society.

I passed this cemetery and church on my way to finding another cache in the village of Dunrobin and was surprised to see that there was no "Restin' " cache at this location. 

The cache can be found in the corner of the cemetery where there are only a few gravesites. One appears to have its own little area but time has taken its toll and hasn't been maintained.  It's always sad to see this happen.

As you enter the cemetery, you will see a large cairn bearing a plaque honouring the village's past residents who gave their lives in various wars.  It reminds us that even small towns and villages were touched by world wide events in the past which makes Canada the country we live in today.
