4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a 380ml sistema container suitable for swaps, Travel Bugs, Geocoins and especially Pathtags. There is even a bench seat to sit on to sign the log and enjoy the view north. There is an unactivated FTF Geocoin prize for the first to find.

Having lived in Halls Head since 1971 I have spent many days along this stretch of coast. I have no idea where the name Deadmans came from but growing up surfing in the area added a bit of mystic about the beach. At certain times of the year the kids enjoy playing in the caves amongst the rocks south of GZ and beach fishermen catch herring, salmon and tailor from here early in the morning.
