Witley Common was the site of army camps during the World Wars. Here on the Heath, amongst the heather and the butterflies, you'll find very few clues that 'Tin Town' was ever here. Please tread carefully, respecting the unique habitat that you are enjoying. During Summer months, dog owners should be aware of ground nesting birds...Have fun!
