Geocache Description:

Small cache container at a small ridge near a clump of trees and a small stream.

Will require a high clearance vehicle or a off-road going motorcycle or a 500 odd meter walk.

Do not do this cache at night. I saw some candle wax and the braches by the trees so there could be people at night.

As always take care geocaching in South Africa.

At primary school I learn what Savana is. And when i saw this clump of trees it took me back to that lessen in class on a warm summers day.

From Wikipedia (Savanna):

A savanna, or savannah, is a grassland ecosystem characterized by the trees being sufficiently widely spaced so that the canopy does not close. The open canopy allows sufficient light to reach the ground to support an unbroken herbaceous layer consisting primarily of grasses. The oak savanna is a common type of savanna in the Northern Hemisphere. Some classification systems also recognize a grassland savanna from which trees are absent.
