One of our fellow geocachers from Germany, Alex-the-Great, will be in Houston for a couple of weeks in October. It seems only fitting that we provide an Oktoberfest-style greeting for him and his family while he is here. So, please come on out and show them some true Texas geocacher hospitality.
As usual, there will be the opportunity to swap tall geo-tales, trackables/pathtags, etc.. Bring money for food/drink for you and yours. Also, it would be nice if folks could bring a token of Texas geocaching to send back to Germany with Alexander and his family. Use your imagination and creativity. Who knows, there may even be door prizes involved. :>)
If you’ve never attended a geo-event, the first thing you'll need to do is "Log Your Visit" on this page and choose "Will Attend" so that the hosts will know how many folks plan on coming. Once you've attended the event and signed the on-site logbook at the event, claim your find/attendance on geocaching.com by entering an "Attended" log.
