1 … LTGTR – ‘THE BEGINNING’
A county road;
A stretch of water;
Ready for some ‘treasures’.
It’s high time to
“LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL…”
“LTGTR” consists of more than 20 varied-type/multi-terrain caches.
It runs the length of this county road,
and beyond.
Ø The initial, lower terrain, caches have relatively easy access with nearby, roadside parking for at least 1 vehicle. (Please be careful, as this road can get busy at times.)
Ø Many portions of this road have, unfortunately, been used for ‘dumping’.
Ø Take care, and do not attempt to access the cache by climbing over the debris. (there is an alternate ‘geo-path’).
Ø Follow-up, higher terrain, caches may require an alternate means of access.
Ø As with any rural Texas cache, though, caution should be taken to avoid traffic, poison ivy, snakes, spiders, local critters, and muggles.
While ‘caching’ this series:
v Have fun.
v Observe all rules of safety.
v Yield to other vehicles (who are not caching).
v Respect private property.
v Wear plenty of skeeter repellent.
v Watch for PI, and critters.
v Remember and practice CITO (the area really needs it).
v Be prepared to stretch, reach, bend, hike, climb, bushwhack and possibly get your feet wet.
v Explore and enjoy.
v Be careful.
v Have fun
