This cache is in a section of the Salmon River Forest in Amston, CT. It is an old mill site along the Jeremy River. Many of the remains are very visible and you can see where the water wheel once was installed. There are notches in the stone where the water wheel was positioned.
The cache is in the ruins. It is a small plastic jar and is well hidden.
