Geocache Description:




We noticed that this park do not receive the same treatment as the other parks. Together we can make a difference.

At the listed way point you will find ample parking. Please park in front of Parklands Garden immediately to the right of the cache waypoint. Please do not park inside the park or in front of the park entrance. There is no apparatus at this park for the kids.

Date and time of CITO:

  • 5 October 2013 @ 09h00.

To qualify for a smiley for this CITO:

  • CITO will start at 09h00. Logging will be allowed if you are there in person helping us cleaning this park from 09h00 until such a time the park is cleaned. Estimated time to clean this park is between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the number of cachers. It will break our hearts if you arrive late and the park is cleaned, so please be there at 09h00. If you are late and the teams are still cleaning your smiley will be safe. :) The group photo will officially terminate the event.

CO will provide:

  • Dustbin Bags
  • Collection
  • Removal of rubbish

Attendee/s will need to provide:

  • Gloves
  • Comfortable walking shoes/hiking boots, the surface is uneven.
  • A sharp pointy stick or metal rod
  • Water to drink
  • Raincoat (in case it rains)
