This cache is placed on the Pacific Northwest Trail, a 1200 mile trail that runs from the Continental Divide to the Pacific Ocean. This segment of the trail goes up and over Anderson Mountain right here in our own backyard. I hear that there is a cache on the summit of this mountain that one day may be published :) And while I am famous for this, it is not mine. Apparently there are two of us here that do this!
To reach this segment of the trail, park at the gate on the CCC road off of the Alger Cain Lake Rd. Since this is along the official trail you can follow the white paint marks along the way keeping in mind that two marks indicates a turn.
