Geocache Description:

Just off the Arts Quad and kitty corner to the chimes lies the Whomping Willow. Your destination is just a stone throw away. Enter if you dare.

A short walk from the Johnson, long haul up the slope, or a leisurely stroll through campus will put you smack in the center of a muggle heavy, Ivy League Geocache Ron Weasley would be proud of. But don't fret, if you're on the dot and bring your A-game, you'll barely be noticed even at peek hours. Added bonus: click to find the exact times of the Cornell Chimes a stone's throw away.

Originally the cache migrated with the seasons but now lives full time in its Fall/Winter home in greener pastures and is a "corner stone" of higher learning. Use the backdoor for best results and though your feet might get a bit wet, it can be checked out year round.

NO climbing is necessary to get at the cache, just your Spidey Senses and geosavvy.
