Before the 1906 earthquake 18th Street was an exposed creek feeding the Mission Creek. Although it is still an active creek is was covered from the 1906 rubble. It is believed there is enough fresh water underneath SF to sustain it indefinitely.
It's an unusual hide. I had to increase the difficulty level because it was being stolen every week. Can be reached from the sidewalk. No need to disturb any homes or businesses. Big a pen, the cache can hold nothing.
