Geocache Description:

This is the first of what I will call my "Hanging Around In Trees" series This one can be accessed from the Tom's Path Preserve on Couch Road in Patterson NY

You can access this cache from the Tom's Path Preserve on Couch Road [way point below] in Patterson NY. You are looking for a slightly modified super tube [1" by 5"] that I hope you will enjoy . The Tom's Path Preserve borders the western side of the Great Swamp [hence the name] and also borders state land. This cache is close to all three of the borders. There is no hunting in the preserve but there is in the state land and being this cache is close to the state land I would advise wearing something orange if you go during hunting season. It wasn't to buggy when I placed this cache but it might not be a bad idea to bring some bug spray along with you when you go depending of course on what time of the year it is. You are looking at maybe a half mile round trip walk in total here mostly down hill to get to the cache and up hill to get back to your car. For all intents and purposes this is a log only cache, there is a pencil in the container but it is always a good idea to bring your favorite writing utensil just in case.
