Geocache Description:

A short offset multi.

Cache is a micro in a novelty container holding log only.

Please bring your own pen or pencil to log.

The church was originally built in 1304 and stands beside Maud Heath's Causeway.

The church at is dedicated to St. Giles,
the patron saint of cripples.

The church was originally situated
behind the corn mill on the River Avon
but sometime between 1802 and 1811 it
was moved across the road. This is because
the rats scared some elements of the congregation
detering them from attending the services!

The church is built of Bath stone.
It has a single bell in a small belfry.

At the co ordinates there are memorials now attached to the wall.
Look at the one in memory of Thomas Bethell who died on 30th June.

The year of death is ABCD. His age is EF.

“If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list”
